DOODLE ROCK RESCUE
Haute Dog Pet Photography proudly partners with Doodle Rock Rescue to photograph adoptable dogs and assist with fundraising efforts. Bright, colorful photos are proven to help attract adopters and we're happy to help catch the attention of the perfect homes by highlighting the individual personality of each doodle.

DOG RANCH RESCUE
In September 2021 we lost our Saint Bernard Hannah to osteosarcoma. We swore we weren't going to get another dog. We definitely weren't going to get another Saint. But boy were we wrong. In October we adopted a two-year-old ball of wiggles and love from Dog Ranch Rescue in Anna, TX and called her Violet. She changed my life in a way only a heart dog can. Unfortunately, she would also shatter it into a million pieces when she became unpredictably aggressive. After unsuccessful efforts from trainers, vets, and behaviorists, it was determined Violet needed to be an only dog and we painfully agreed to let Dog Ranch Rescue find her that life. The story ends on a positive note - Violet found an incredible home on 40 acres in Tennessee and I found a fire in me to help end the suffering created by puppy mills.
My two greatest loves have been dogs freed from puppy mills, but they have also been my biggest heartaches. Despite being rescued from a mill at 6 months old and wanting for nothing, my Bernese Mountain Dog Jake was always very cautious and shy. Puppy mills stole the joy from Jake's life and they stole Violet from me. It is my mission to support Dog Ranch Rescue in its fight to 'steal' as many dogs from puppy mills as possible to give them a better life. We are proud to have donated over $5000 to date.
THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION
My aunt/godmother is a heart transplant recipient, so this is a cause quite literally near and dear to my heart. Haute Dog Pet Photography supports the American Heart Association every year and we have raised thousands of dollars in support of this cause. Their initiative, Go Red for Women, is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally.
TEXAS HUMANE NETWORK
THN's mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through education, training, and outreach. THN also focuses on educating children from a young age about how to humanely treat animals, with the thought that providing humane education early on is the most reliable way to prevent animal abuse and neglect. Their novel approach to pre-empting animal abuse before it begins caught our attention. We began supporting THN in 2022 as soon as we learned of its mission and will continue to do so!
SHELDRICK WILDLIFE TRUST
In 2016 I traveled to Kenya and had the privilege of visiting the Sheldrick orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program. Working across Kenya, their projects include anti-poaching, safeguarding the natural environment, enhancing community awareness, addressing animal welfare issues, providing veterinary assistance to animals in need, and rescuing and hand rearing elephant and rhino orphans that can ultimately enjoy a quality of life in wild terms when grown. The visit was profoundly moving and we have proudly donated to the Trust every year since.
